But that may differ depending on what time period you're looking at. I'm going to have to go back and see.therealphoenixanewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06728133971705657561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727181806679003267.post-27085297369759302822011-05-25T15:18:38.974-05:002011-05-25T15:18:38.974-05:00+JMJ+

(I still miss that old grade school friend . . .)

Of course, I can't say I got all the information I ever needed,Enbrethilielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03414765854670926854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727181806679003267.post-66569182751917636312011-05-25T11:02:26.446-05:002011-05-25T11:02:26.446-05:00I noticed #27 when I was pulling out these various...I noticed #27 when I was pulling out these various comics for reviews, and made a mental note to re-read that one. The cover alone brought back a lot of memories. :)

That's interesting. Looking back my memory tells me that trying to read only one of the two concurrent X-men series would be missing a lot of information - but then this was also the time that the X-men were split therealphoenixanewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06728133971705657561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727181806679003267.post-54208294924381169492011-05-25T10:45:34.043-05:002011-05-25T10:45:34.043-05:00+JMJ+

I don't remember the line, but I'm fairly sure it was #27--the one in which Rogue and Gambit go on a date. (Yeah, I read that one over and over too, as if it were a Romance novel! LOL!)

I had some Uncanny X-men comics, too, but since they were in the 100s when I finally discovered them, I didn't feel very Enbrethilielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03414765854670926854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727181806679003267.post-49802949635304674582011-05-24T19:01:48.290-05:002011-05-24T19:01:48.290-05:00Doing these reviews has made me miss reading comic...Doing these reviews has made me miss reading comics in the worst way. And you're on the money - the scene between Rogue and Gambit is what sold me on the couple. It's a great stand-alone, which I think is something comics need a lot more of these days.
